The leather.
The details.

Two surfaces. One considered construction.

Black crocodile-embossed leather strap, lining and gold-tone buckle
The Signature / leather and hardware

Crocodile-embossed leather

The Signature’s outer is full-grain leather with an embossed crocodile pattern. The pattern gives the surface its texture; it is not exotic crocodile skin.

Naturally grained calf leather

The Contour uses full-grain calf leather with a natural grain. A silver-tone buckle, keeper and matching tip give its narrow profile a distinctive finish.

A nubuck lining

The reverse is lined in full-grain nubuck with a soft, matte surface. The lining is vegetable-tanned, a process that uses plant-derived tannins. We describe the lining separately because the outer leather’s tanning method has not been specified.

Made near Milan

The family-owned workshop that makes our belts in Trezzo sull’Adda brings leather inspection, cutting, finishing and quality checks together in one facility. Its belt-making experience began in 1985.

Everyday care

Gently remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. Keep the belt away from prolonged moisture, direct heat and strong sunlight. Test any suitable leather-care product on a discreet area first.

Between wears

Store flat or loosely coiled in a dry, ventilated space. Avoid sharp folds and pressure against the buckle.

A GOOD FIT STARTS HERE

Measure the belt
you already love.

  1. Lay it flat and measure from the buckle pin to the hole you use most.
  2. Measure at the position you intend to wear it—waist and hip measurements are different.
  3. Keep that measurement in inches. Do not substitute your jeans size or measure the full strap. One inch equals 2.54 cm.

Inches are rounded conversions of the marked European size. Measure at the position you’ll wear your belt: waist and hip measurements differ.
